When I perform, it's often a direct expression of passion. When I write, it's often a reflection of the harder aspects of life. Pain, anxiety, longing. I wanted to take a moment to be Transparent in how these performances come to light. Someone commented on a post recently that suggested my performances came off a little too "tough love". In which I agreed. 

Fortunately, I was already in the process of finally taking this chapbook off the shelf to share it. To be more vulnerable. Not to prove, but to expose. One day I aspire to create an official poetry book with more depth. More vulnerability. And more pages. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this chapbook!
